What is the gauge of artificial turf

Gauge is the distance between rows of grass lines in tufting process,usually in inches as a unit.The current common gauge:3/4、3/8、5/8、5/16 inch(one inch=2.54cm),for example 3/4”gauge,which is 3/4 inch*2.54cm=1.905cm;5/8 gauge,which is 5/8 inch*2.54cm=1.588cm.Different synthetic turf has different gauge,so there are many kinds of synthetic turf models.
