Maintenance of artificial grass after snow part 2
Dec. 02 , 2021
Thick ice can be melt by chemical way, for your reference, spraying 100lbs Urea over per 3000sqft artificial grass can melt the ice in half hour. Then remove the melt ice by clean machine or other suitable equipment. But Urea has little use when the temperature under minus 12 centi-degree, and none under minus 17.
The salt, Calcium chloride and other corrodent or toxic chemicals can not be used to melt the ice on artificial turf, as the residue may hurt the players, equipment and the yarns.
